Job Description
As a Windows network/systems administrator, your main job is to manage and support the company's workplace computers, as well as our company servers, which run our software services under the Windows platform. Your duties include troubleshooting and fixing employee computer software problems, fixing hardware components, tracking and managing computer assets, securing the network and systems, backing up data, monitor network/systems for suspicious activities, manage user accounts, and enforcing company computer/network policies.

Specific Requirements:

• Network Administration: Must have network administration experience, preferably with an MCSE certification. Requires 2+ years of experience.
• Systems Administration: Must have computer administration experience, preferably with A++ ceritifcation or something equivalent. Requires 1+ year(s) of experience.
• Hardware Purchasing: Must understand components of computers/network so as to be able to source them and replace as needed.
• Data Backup: Should know how to back up, verify, secure, and restore data.
• Security: Must understand systems and network security, enforcing systems/network policies that will prevent theft of company code, installation of unauthorized software, susceptibility to hacking, etc. Must understand how to set up firewalls and track network usage.
• Self Starter : Must keep vigilence and think on your own without constant upervision. Should keep up with current tools and issues so as to not fall behind in trends of technology.

General Requirements:

• Applicant must be 18+ years old, mature, professional, responsible, prompt, organized, on-time, and detailed-oriented.
• Must be at least a college graduate.
• Must be willing and available to learn and stay at this job for at least one year.
• Must be able to type at least 50 words a minute.
