FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What is the control panel contact email address for?
There are two control panels, a billing control panel, and a hosting control panel. The billing control panel is where you manage all of your billing, while the hosting control panel is where you manage all of your website's functions.
Within each control panel you can set your contact email address. Here are the differences:
1) Billing Control Panel email address
This is your primary email contact address our techs will use when contacting you. Also, billing invoices, receipts, and your initial welcome email are all sent to this contact email address.
2) Hosting Control Panel email address
This is where important system event notifications will be sent. System events include thing like:
- When your site's bandwidth usage is within 80% of its monthly limit
- When your site's disk space quota is nearing or has reached its limit
- Other critical events concerning your account, as determined by the system
Also, is you lose your hosting panel login and make a request (from the hosting panel login screen) to have your login information re-sent, this is the email address it is sent to. Related Topics:
